As Mina Tadros says, “If you want to change your world, you need to start cultivating good habits.” How are your habits supporting your wellness journey?
When we first try something new, there is a change we need to accept. But sometimes, accepting changes are difficult. So, how can we approach the change to support ourselves for success?
In this article, we want to focus on three simple tools we find helpful to cope with change in our lives.

Let’s begin with the first way to cope with change in your life—journaling.
With the journaling feature, you can reflect on the changes that have taken place and find ways to accept them. Journaling can be a helpful way to gather all your ideas onto a page to better visualize your thoughts.
Sometimes it can be challenging to complete a thought because our minds may be overwhelmed by many ideas all at once. Writing or typing what is on our minds help us reflect and process our experiences an easier and stress-reducing way.
Try This: Begin by grabbing your favourite pen and a notebook or a note-taking app like Healthie’s Journal space, and write anything that is on your mind about your desired change.
This could be things that worked, barriers, something you learned, or what you’re feeling towards this change.
You could also journal about, “What did you eat today?” or “How did you feel today?” It can be about a specific thought or a general feeling. Any and every thought is valuable to learn more about how we can identify a way to cope with change easier than before.
Change is difficult to predict, but we can create Action Plans to help ourselves during stressful times. Action Plans give us the opportunity to create a plan for ourselves that suits our needs.
Making a list of activities to help you cope with change can be a helpful way to start the brainstorming process. Activities like deep breathing exercises, journaling, or meditating help de-stress and regulate our mood when we face change. This will give you a comfortable plan to turn to when you feel overwhelmed or uncertain.
Try This: Take a few moments to create a plan for yourself. Include activities that you find calming and comforting.

Once you have created a plan, it is time to take action and implement it. This can be done by trying out different activities to incorporate into your plan. Experiment with different activities and figure out what works best for you.
Maybe try out a new hobby or practice a relaxation exercise, like deep breathing or progressive muscle relaxation. These activities can help you relax and refocus during times of change.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
